PENCOR is the leading provider of reservoir fluid services in the United States. PENCOR specializes in
wellsite sample acquisition and transfer services, and laboratory
PVT and Advanced Fluid studies. PENCOR has Mobile Laboratories for
on-site reservoir fluid sample validation evaluations. PENCOR also
provides ultra high-pressure DOT pistoned cylinders needed for the
acquisition and storage of fluids from reservoirs with pressures up to 25,000 psi
PENCOR Reservoir Fluid Specialists was founded in 1972 as
Weatherly Laboratories in Lafayette, Louisiana. The company
changed its name in 1995, becoming PENCOR Reservoir Fluid
Specialists. In 1998, PENCOR moved to its new, custom-built facility in
Broussard, Louisiana. PENCOR was acquired by Core Laboratories in
2000 and incorporated into Core Laboratories Reservoir Description
Division. With this acquisition, PENCOR assumed the role of Core
Laboratories' sole provider of reservoir fluid sampling and analysis
services in the U.S.
